WIP Wednesday!

There are times when I am excited about a project/block, etc and instead of taking my time and doing it right the first time I rush through or take shortcuts to see the final result sooner.  Example?!  My "Echo" four eyes mini.  Instead of basting correctly, I skipped the basting all together and jumped straight to the quilting.  Result?!  Puckering, badness and seam ripping.  Lesson learned?! I certainly hope so because I'm not a fan of seam ripping and the edges of my fabric are fraying a bit...maybe I'll add an extra "widish" binding..we'll see!

    I am the exact same way! I rush the first block so I can see the finished result, LOL. I get so excited all my patience goes out the window. :) Your blocks look really nice!

    Thanks Sara and Bethany...I'm almost finished ripping stitches, tomorrow I'll baste correctly and quilt and bind it!
