WIP Wednesday...World's Smallest Granny Square?

I recently bought 2 mini charm packs of  "30's Playtime" by Chloe's Closet for Moda.  It is one of the cutest fabric lines ever! I had a hard time deciding on a quilt block but though that a super mini Granny Square would be adorable.  The squares are all 1.25" square with the standard 1/4 " seam allowance.  The finished block is approximately 4" square.  I'm thinking that I'll make 12 or 16 blocks in total!

Here's the first block:

  1. Oh my it's so cute. It will be a darling quilt.

  2. Oh, wow such tinny squares! So adorable.

  3. Love, love, love!! Pressing these blocks must be a bear.

    1. it is! no matter how hard I press, the ends want to pop up!

  4. Oh my gosh - so adorable! Mini's are so fun to work on and yours is just wonderful.

  5. Hoo Wee! That is so stinkin' cute... I love Granny Squares but I don't know if I could handle making them so small!! I hope that you will share the final project!!
